Slipknot bassist Paul Gray was discovered dead in a hotel room on Monday, May 24th, 2010 at the age of 38. He was survived by his wife Brenna, who is currently expecting their first child.

Legendary American heavy rock singer Ronnie James Dio, who replaced Ozzy Osbourne in Black Sabbath, has died at the age of 67, his wife and manager have confirmed.

Break-Ups

POWER QUEST parted ways with front man Pete Morten and guitarist Ben Randall due to musical differences. A new vocalist has already been found and the band is hard at work rehearsing new material with him. In the meantime, Power Quest is looking for a new guitarist to join the line up.

It is with great regret that DragonForce announce a parting of the ways with singer, ZP Theart. While the creative core members have begun writing the band’s fifth album, they have also started a worldwide search for a new vocalist. “We are looking for a powerful, melodic singer to write a new chapter of DragonForce with us." said guitarist Herman Li.
